Driving Your Future

About allrightdriving

allrightdriving was formed by Cathy Guiffre, a long time educator, who currently teaches math intervention, and online algebra at U32 middle and high school in Montpelier, VT. She was born and raised in England, but moved to the States in her 20's. She decided to pursue driver education due to the need she saw and her background working with students. With her experience of both in-person and online classroom instruction and her passion to work with students, she is empowering the next generation of responsible drivers.

Our Policies

At Allright Driving, we prioritize transparency and fairness. Please review our policies below:

**Policies**

**What is your refund policy?**
Once the first classroom session begins, refunds are not available.

**Do I have to pay right away?**
Yes, only students who have fully paid will be guaranteed a spot in the class.

**What is your bad weather policy?**
Due to Vermont's unpredictable weather, students must be prepared to adapt and make safe decisions. If we determine that road conditions are unsafe, we will cancel the drive and inform you as soon as possible.

**Do you offer home pick-up and drop-off?**
No, you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from our designated pick-up and drop-off locations.

**What is the cancellation policy for drive times?**
We impose a late cancellation fee of $75 for any cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice. Last-minute changes are challenging for us to accommodate. This fee will be collected prior to scheduling the next lesson. The following circumstances will incur this cancellation fee:

- Failing to attend a scheduled lesson or class without providing 24 hours' notice
- Forgetting to bring your Learner's Permit to your lesson
- Arriving more than 15 minutes late for your lesson
- If your permit specifies that you must wear contacts or glasses, you must have them available for driving.

**Vermont Driver Education Requirements (For Students Under 18)**

Each student must complete a 30-hour driver education course. State law permits absences from class instruction only for valid reasons as determined by the instructor, such as a death in the family or personal injury. Written documentation must be provided to verify the absence. Students are allowed to miss no more than four hours of classroom instruction; exceeding this limit will result in removal from the class without a refund. Although missed class time cannot be made up, students are responsible for completing any missed quizzes, tests, and assignments on the material covered. Students who miss more than four hours or two classes will be marked as "incomplete" on state documentation and must finish the driver education course within six months, or they will need to retake the entire class.

**Vermont Behind-the-Wheel Requirements:**

- A minimum of 6 hours of in-car driving lessons.
- A minimum of 6 hours of in-car observation.
- All students must complete Vermont's Supervised Driving Log, which requires a total of 40 hours of practice, including at least 10 hours of nighttime driving.

Students must hold a Vermont Learner's Permit to practice driving legally, and they must be accompanied by a licensed driver in the front passenger seat who is at least 25 years old.
